Christina Aguilera Perfume!

OMG...I am so very excited again! A few years back Christina Aguilera came out with a perfume I just "had"to have and my sweet boyfriend (now husband!) of course got it for me. He had to get it on ebay, however, as they did not sell it in the USA! Why, I will never know. It was such an amazing smelling perfume. Well, I have been very sparse with it since it is no longer on ebay or anywhere here in the USA, however, just the other day I found a website in London that sells it and I am so very excited. The price is actually very reasonable as is the shipping cost. In addition, I guess they made a "night" version that I have never seen!

Christina Aguilera ~ Christina Aguilera Eau de Parfum combines luxurious jasmine with notes of blueberry, mandarin, peach, lily of the valley, ripe plum accords and a sensual base of vanilla, musk, amber and sandalwood.
Christina Aguilera by Night ~ Christina Aguilera By Night opens with playful accords of freesia, red apple and mandarin over sparkling fruity-floral notes. The heart of the fragrance is beautiful vanilla blossom that warms gently into the base of seductive and amber and pure vanilla.

Baby Sitters Club!!

Omg - I cannot believe this. I came across this article tonight and I am so excited! Ann M. Martin has released a new Baby Sitters Club Book - a prequel to all of her previous Baby Sitters Club Books! I read every single of of these books as a little girl. My cousin Bobbi and I were obsessed! I cannot wait to get this book. I am sure it won't have the same effect as it did when I was younger but still, I'm sure it will bring back plenty of great memories!

The first book, below, was Kristy's Great Idea.

In any event, the prequel will tell us a bit more about the girls before they started the Baby-Sitters Club:

Before there was the Baby-Sitters Club, there were four girls named Kristy Thomas, Mary Anne Spier, Claudia Kishi, and Stacey McGill. As they start the summer before seventh grade (also before they start the BSC), each of them is on the cusp of a big change. Kristy is still hung up on hoping that her father will return to her family. Mary Anne has to prove to her father that she's no longer a little girl who needs hundreds of rules. Claudia is navigating her first major crush on a boy. And Stacey is leaving her entire New York City life behind... (Amazon)

So You Think You Can Dane ~ Get Fit

So, for Christmas I asked for the new SYTYCD Get Fit DVD's. One, because I am a HUGE SYTYCD fan and second, because I thought it might be a fun way to get me interesting in exercising. Sadly, to this day I have not used them yet. But, now that I am trying to start exercising again - I think I am going to give them a try. They seem like a lot of fun and are something a bit more exciting that just walking on the treadmill, right?

The DVD's tackle all kinds of different dance/workout routines. for example, Twitch tackles hip-hop, Katee jams to jazz, Dmitry performs Cha-Cha, Courtney does Disco, Travis’ expertise is Contemporary and Lauren gives the guys a run for their money in Hip-Hop.

So, I am going to try and incorporate these DVD's into my workout. Maybe once or twice a week inbetween my treadmill workouts. I"ll keep you posted on my thoughts!

Exercise ...

So, I have put it off and put it off long enough. It's time to try and get back into "shape". Well, not sure I have been in "shape" for a while but you get my point. After the wedding, I was so stressed and just wanted to relax and eat anything and everything under the sun I thought I would take a break from eating "healthy" foods and working out. But, I can feel my jiggle "getting jiggy with it" more and more!!

So, last week I got on the treadmill twice. I know, not much but hey, you have got to start somewhere, right? I find that it's hard to convince myself to do it but once I get going, it's not that bad. I just don't have much motivation at all - and never have. I have always hating working out -- always!!

But, I have got to get over that and get started. I'm not getting any younger and I have a 4th of July lake trip coming up and a family vacation in August that I need to get "bikini ready" for. So, for those of you listening out there, I"m going to try and keep tabs of what I do on here. Who knows, maybe knowing people will read or see my progress might give me a bit more will power. I guess we'll see, huh?
